Did you ever wonder what it was like to wake up to a room filled with spirits from the other side wanting you to connect with their loved one? Or, have you seen a loved one or friend who you know has passed, but looks to be in the room with you, chatting like no time has passed?
The life of a medium can be “interesting”, especially when you are first opening up to your gifts. You might find yourself overwhelmed or absolutely fearful at the prospect of being “visited” from beings from the other side of the veil. Though I wouldn’t label myself as a medium, my gifts have been opening wider and wider bringing to me experiences that are not run of the mill.
The first spirit from the other side that showed themselves to me was really exciting. I was having lunch with my husband and as the waitress was inviting us to check out the raffle room of a fundraiser that was being set up. As she continued to tell the story of the young girl who had been murdered a few years before, she showed herself to me.
She was a teenager and was so excited that her father was raising funds in her name to help students with books, trips or college. She was jumping around asking me to tell everyone how excited and happy she was about the event. While I was in the raffle room talking to another volunteer, she kept tapping me on the shoulder reminding me to share her happiness and excitement.
When an opportunity arose, I told the volunteer happy and excited she was about the event. My husband went white, and on our way out of the restaurant said “How could you just come out and tell her about Olivia’s excitement. They don’t know what you do.” I explained that she wasn’t going to stop until I said something. The moment I passed on her message she was gone.
Experiences like that have happened a number of times since the first time I saw a spirit, though it doesn’t happen all the time.
